This technology improves communication between our carers and office team, helping us provide efficient, responsive care while allowing our team to spend more time focusing on what matters most — the people we support.

At Wetherby Home Care, we believe in creating opportunities that bring people together, encourage independence and support wellbeing. Our sustainable community garden, developed and run by our clients with the support of our carers, is a wonderful example of this.

The garden provides a welcoming space where clients can get involved in planting, growing and caring for the environment, while enjoying the benefits of fresh air, meaningful activities and shared experiences. Supported by our dedicated carers, it encourages creativity, connection and a sense of achievement, helping everyone involved to be part of something positive within our community.

We are committed to providing our team with the highest quality training and support. We have recently completed our purpose-built training room, equipped with new training resources and specialist equipment to enhance our carers’ skills and confidence.

Our training facilities include practical learning equipment, including a training mannequin with stoma and catheter features, allowing our team to develop and maintain essential care skills in a safe and supportive environment.

By investing in our staff development, we ensure our carers have the knowledge, confidence and practical experience needed to continue delivering safe, compassionate and high-quality care to the people we support.
